Membership Information for Individuals and Organisations

There are over 1,000 members of the LeicestHERday Trust.  LeicestHERday Trust is a Registered Charity and a Company Limited Guarantee.  Members comprise individuals and organisations.

 

Individual Membership

Individual membership in the Trust for one year (which includes voting rights at Annual General Meetings) is tied in with registration for the Conference.
Conference fee of £10 and £5 concessions includes membership in the Trust for the coming year. Those people who wish to become a member at any time in the year after the conference can pay £10.00 or £5 concessions entitling them to membership until the Annual General Meeting following (January 2010).

 

Community Group Membership

Community group membership (which includes voting rights at Annual General Meetings) is the cost of a stall booking for the Conference

(£50 in 2009). This fee includes stall and membership at the same time.  A community group shall appoint one member to hold the single vote rights of the group.

For example a community group paying a registration fee of £50 in 2009, is entitled to membership until the 2010 AGM.

 

Corporate Membership

Corporate membership is tied in to their stall or partnership fee under the same conditions as Community Group Membership.  A range of fees available dependent upon partnership level.  Available from Partnership chair, Maureen Milgram Forrest

 

Voting Rights

No member, individual, community or corporate shall be entitled to more than one vote.  An individual member who is also the designated voter for a community group or corporate member can only vote once on any issue.

 

Trust Membership 

From the General Membership, 16 Trustees are elected at the AGM. There are currently no vacant spaces on the Trust. For more information about becoming a Trustee e-mail Maureen Milgram Forrest.
