Working with the Pakistani Youth and Community Association, in various areas, one of which includes supporting young under achievers from disadvantaged communities, particularly from Pakistani, Bangladeshi and Somali communities.  Passionate mentor to young women for the Princes Trust; recently elected as online volunteering service’s youth volunteer co-ordinator, to encourage involvement of youth aged 13 to 25 to undertake and participate in online projects

Phil Brown

Physics graduate from Nottingham University, author, teacher, computer consultant, science communicator and currently the East Midlands Regional Officer for the British Association for the Advancement of Science (the BA). Phil is not quite sure what he has done to deserve the honour of being the first male LHD Trustee but he will make every effort to fulfil that position to the best of his ability. He is working on several projects in conjunction with the Trust to help bring science and women closer together.

Rita Chandarana

Having worked for the most prestigious brands in the country, Rita has rebranded Maz of Leicester within two years developing it as one of the top 2% of studios in the world.
