SETting an Example 2009

The LeicestHERday Trust are inviting students to attend the 3rd annual SETting an Example event, opening doors to young women in science, engineering, construction and technology.

The event is free and offers young women a unique opportunity of meeting inspirational special guests, speaking with and presenting questions to a panel of professionals and discussing job opportunities with experts from Science, Engineering and Technology (SET) Industries.

Young women will also be provided with information for alternative professions and encouraged to think about their career choices.

SETting an Example is designed for young women who are currently taking subjects in Science, Engineering and Technology (SET) or for pupils who are about to make GCSE or A-level Options choices.
